• How do you verify a watch is authentic?
  Every watch goes through a multi-point authentication process before we'll put our name on it. That means hands-on inspection of the case, dial, movement, crown, clasp, and caseback — checking serial and model numbers against manufacturer records, verifying that references match the documented production years, and examining the movement (where accessible) for signs of tampering or replacement. we also cross-reference original box and papers where present. For high-value pieces or anything we want a second opinion on, we send the watch to a certified watchmaker or brand-authorized service center. If we have any doubt at all, we don't buy it — which means it never reaches you.
• What brands do you carry?
  The collection centers on Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, IWC, Omega, Cartier, Tudor, Grand Seiko, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Breitling, Panerai, Glashutte Original, Bulgari, Ulysse Nardin, and Roger Dubuis — along with independent and boutique pieces when the right example comes along. If you're looking for something specific that's not shown, reach out. If we can source it safely and stand behind it, we will. If we can't, we'll tell you that too.
• Can we buy a watch remotely — do you ship?
  Yes. A lot of our buyers are outside Long Island, and remote transactions are completely normal. we ship fully insured via FedEx Overnight with signature required — the watch is packaged properly, not just dropped in a box. Before it ships, we'll send you a detailed video walkthrough of the watch so there are no surprises when you open it. International shipping is available but depends on the destination country's import regulations. If you have questions about a specific country, just ask.
• What payment methods do you accept?
  For most transactions we accept bank wire transfer, Zelle, and cash in person. For remote purchases, wire or Zelle is the standard — it keeps things clean and avoids the fees and chargeback risk that come with credit cards on high-value items. we don't accept PayPal. If you need to work out a different arrangement for a specific situation, we're always happy to talk through it.
• Do you offer any warranty or guarantee?
  Every watch we sell comes with our personal authenticity guarantee — meaning if a watch ever turns out not to be what we represented it as, we'll make it right, full stop. Beyond that, pre-owned watches don't carry a manufacturer warranty, but many come with remaining original warranty time if they're recent enough, and we'll always tell you where a piece stands on that. For mechanical condition, we're honest about what's been serviced and what hasn't. If a watch needs service soon, we'll tell you before you buy.
• What is your return policy?
  we offer a 24-hour inspection window from the time you receive the watch. If something about the watch doesn't match what was described — condition, authenticity, anything material — contact us within 24 hours and we'll work it out. we're not running a return-for-any-reason business, but we also don't hide behind fine print. If we got something wrong, that's on us. Returns are handled case by case, and we've never had someone walk away unhappy.
• How does selling our watch to you work?
  It's straightforward. Send us a few photos and the reference number, and we'll come back with a ballpark offer — usually within a day. If we're in range, we'll inspect the watch in person or ask you to ship it insured for inspection. Once we've seen it and confirmed condition, we'll make a firm offer. If you accept, we pay immediately — wire same day or cash in person. No waiting, no drama. we're buying watches we actually want to have in inventory, so if we make you an offer, we mean it.
• How long does sourcing a specific reference take?
  It depends on what you're looking for. Common references in good supply — a Submariner, a Speedmaster, a Cartier Tank — we can usually find within a week or two. Specific references with particular dial variants, box and papers, or unusual configurations can take longer. The honest answer is that we'll give you a realistic estimate upfront and check in regularly. we won't string you along. If something is taking much longer than expected, we'll tell you — and if we think it's not realistic, we'll say that too rather than keep you waiting indefinitely.
• Do you do trade-ins?
  Yes. If you want to trade your current watch toward something else, we can structure that as a swap. we'll appraise what you have, you pick something from the collection or commission a source, and we figure out the difference. It's the same process as an outright sale — we just need to see the watch and confirm condition before we lock in the numbers. Trades are actually one of our favorite ways to do business because both parties are getting something they want.
• What is consignment and how does it work?
  Consignment means we sell your watch on your behalf instead of buying it outright. You set a minimum price you're comfortable with; we handle the listing, authentication, and sale. When it sells, you get your agreed amount and we keep a commission. The upside: you generally net more than a straight sale to a dealer. The tradeoff: it takes longer, and nothing is guaranteed until a buyer commits. we list consignment pieces across our full network — the website, Chrono24, eBay, and direct inquiries. we'll keep you updated and never sell below your floor.
• Are your prices negotiable?
  we price things fairly from the start — we'd rather price correctly and move a watch than inflate it and sit on it. That said, if you're buying multiple pieces, paying cash, or moving quickly, there's often room to talk. The best approach is just to ask. we won't be offended by a reasonable offer, and we won't waste your time if the number doesn't work.
• Can we see the watch before buying?
  Yes. If you're in the Long Island area, we do private viewings by appointment at our showroom: 423 Nassau Blvd, West Hempstead, NY 11552. You can also find us on Google Maps. Reach out to book a time — we'll confirm the appointment and have the watch ready for you to inspect and handle. If you're remote, we'll do a live video walkthrough over FaceTime or video call — same level of detail, just through a screen. A still photo never tells the whole story, and we'd rather you feel completely comfortable before committing.
